Introduction

Extensive development and testing has enabled KMG technotrak to develop a range of composite access covers capable of withstanding a 125 kN loading. Access Covers manufactured from Composite material are unique to the traditional cast iron cover as they have no inherent scrap value. This greatly reduces the risk of the covers being removed illegally. In addition it prevents Utilities, contractor etc incurring large costs to replace stolen access covers. KMG Access Covers are specially designed with a raised tread pattern to reduce the risk of slipping during wet and icy weather conditions. Test results received from Devon County Council show that KMG access covers perform favourable and meets the requirements of the low slip potential value. Access covers are manufactured with standard branding. Individual company branding is also available.
